Buzzfeed published an article in 2018 containing allegations by staff of her inappropriate sexual behaviour. There were claims in there that she almost exposed herself in front of another politician, and that she boasts about her sexual behaviour.

Husar filed a defamation suit against Buzzfeed and alleged that the article portrayed her as a ‘slut’. The hearing centered on what is the definition of a slut. However, the case did not go the distance as it was settled before a ruling was made. 

Surely, for a Federal politician like Ms. Husar, being called a slut ruins political careers, as well as personal reputation.
